| Founded in 1969, SFA provides analysis, technologies, systems, and solutions for National Security customers in Government and industry. SFA’s Government Solutions Division (GSD) is a provider of sophisticated C4ISR and Information Systems, as well as a premier developer of advanced security and defense technologies for a variety of U.S. Government customers.
GSD specializes in systems and software engineering, military C4I systems, radar and sensor integration, electronic and maritime navigation systems, and geospatial technologies. GSD has been assessed at Level 2 of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model for Software (SEI SW-CMM) and is currently in the process of achieving CMMI. Most GSD program managers are certified as Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professionals (PMP®).
